Contact Strips

They consist of two contact elements which are kept at a defined distance from one another in its dormant state, dependent on the type, one has flexible metal conductors the other is made of conductive rubber with an extruded copper conductor making the edge very flexible.  The contact strip is terminated with an appropriate end piece, so that once they have been drawn into a rubber profile and connected to an evaluation system any deformity of the contact strip gives an output, the result is a sensitive edge system.
