IN2 Access evolves as it centres on support, processes and team to strengthen its operations

Company outlines new products, initiatives, and executive structure

Like many businesses, IN2 Access & Control have encountered numerous challenges over recent years yet have shown the business tenacity to turn negatives into positives by becoming stronger and more focused.

Improving customer support, streamlining processes and strengthening its team have been core to the Shropshire based company moving forward.

‘All companies must constantly adapt and evolve to keep pace with the needs of their customers,’ said Derek Foreman, managing director of IN2 Access.

The company has more than 10 years trading experience in specifying and supplying sensor and control technology to the gate, barrier, perimeter fencing sectors in addition to the industrial, pedestrian and garage door market.

'The pandemic, along with Brexit and other supply chain challenges certainly meant we had to find ways of working better, and it’s resulted in us being stronger as a team and business.

‘As operations director, Jason Andrews has now been part of the senior management team for five years.  He takes responsibility for ensuring IN2 Access provides the consistently high levels of quality and service that customers have come to expect. He has been instrumental in helping us through the past few years and getting us to where we are today.’

Maintaining its significant presence with the BBC Bircher Smart Access range of safety and access solutions, IN2 Access have strengthened their offering by launching a range of GSM-connected door and gate openers last year in partnership with PAL Electronics Ltd.

‘Established 10 years ago, PAL Electronics quickly became one of the world’s leading manufacturers of advanced IOT solutions.  PAL Electronics have been at the forefront in the development of intuitive and smart GSM control devices and services.  With over 2.6 million users worldwide, their products are sure to become the “go to” solution for remote applications,’ he said.

‘With its user-friendly web portal this new product offering has proven very popular with both existing and new customers.  Its design allows for distributers, installers, and end users to remotely manage all aspects of their activation requirements (from timer events to full access logs) from anywhere in the world. The PAL Electronics range includes Bluetooth, secure uncopiable remotes, GSM, long range RFID systems as well as wireless “free exit” loops.  Continued product development will soon see the release of intercom and ANPR systems. “Their quality products, together with the high level of service and support, make Pal Electronics a perfect partner for IN2 Access.’

Further product expansion plans include the range of Videx intercom systems.  Wired and wireless GSM options are available, as are audio-only and video options.

‘The Videx brand is a well-known and established name in the market,’ said Foreman.  ‘Having been asked frequently for this product range, we feel we’re now able to offer a complete solution; Videx compliments the PAL gate controllers perfectly.  A full range of Videx systems are available with wired audio-only version on one end of the spectrum, to video set ups on the other end.’

The ExpertSystem Reseller Network caps a busy 12 months of announcements for IN2 Access.  Launched fully in May 2022, the Reseller Network currently consists of three strategic partners located across England who offer a range of BBC Bircher’s self-assembly safety edge kits.  With IN2-branded displays within their trade counters and showrooms (complete with assembly and fitting tutorial videos and product samples), this network gives gate and door installers the flexibility of same-day collection if required.

Launch day partners included FAAC UK in Hampshire, Specialized Security Products in Hertfordshire, and North Valley Forge in Lancashire.  Collection is also possible at IN2 Access headquarters in Oswestry.

‘We are very pleased so far with the response and interest in our ExpertSystem Reseller Network,’ said Foreman.  “’We are actively looking for Reseller partners in Scotland and Northern Ireland – so any interested businesses should get in touch.  Future plans for the network might include additional products complimentary to the ExpertSystem safety edge range.  Perhaps the BBC Bircher XRF wireless kits, PAL GSM-gate controllers, or a new product range we have not yet announced. Smart internet-connected devices are the future, so watch this space.’
